sorry about the misplaced question. are there pusher folding props.

It appears that folding props are mostly used in gliders with motors in the nose so that there needs to be some offset so the blades can fold more or less flush. A pusher doesn't need this and in my case I would prefer not to have any offset at all because it drives the motor aft.

so are there 8x6 (+/-) folding prop blades without this offset?

There are a lot of applications that use a folding prop in a pusher setup. The only thing special needed to to limit the blades from folding to the other side of the spinner. People have come up with all sorts of little tricks to do this. @Jarron just uses some thread around the hub. Maybe he can post of a picture?

Not sure what you are talking about with the offset. They are pretty much the same shape as their fixed props, just more meat in the hub to pivot on.

These "Z" spinners turn the blades around to make the blades fold more flush. At the same time, it also reduces the diameter and increases(?) the pitch.

I did not think that it changes anything. It looks like they just moved one straight up and one down... I thought they did this to try to make the props fold against the fuse better. I could be wrong...

While we're at it, it looks like it would be good to use thread locker on the screws which secure the blades. What do you recommend? Or is blue LocTite good enough?
