I have a couple friends that want to learn how to fly and i was thinking about setting up something like a kadet trainer. Just seeing if anybody has any suggestions for good trainers like the kadet. Full controls.

My go to was always the Parkzone T28 (E-flite one is basically the same) but might be a little quick for a first plane. The other one that I taught my friend with and it worked out great was the Aeroscout. I know these aren't like the ones you are asking about but figured I would throw it out there.

oh no i dont care if its a kit, that was just what i had looked at on a few youtube videos. Thanks ill check those out

The Aeroscout is a fantastic trainer and flys really well. Checkout the Horizon Hobby youtube videos of them flying on 6s, they are pretty capable too if desired. lol

I'll second the Eflite Apprentice. It's a really good trainer to quickly get someone soloed and flying on their own.
The AeroScout is also a good trainer but requires more piloting skill before the student is ready to solo, so it takes longer to train them up to solo status. Mainly because the AeroScout is smaller and faster than the Apprentice.
For me the choice would depend on how quickly the student will be able to learn to fly the trainer.
If the student is young, has good eyesight, learns quickly, and plays video games, then the AeroScout would be the best choice.
If the student is older and takes longer to learn than they used to, and their distance eyesight isn't what it used to be, then the Apprentice would be the best choice.
