I am having no luck getting CH6 Elevator 2 to respond to the gyro. All other channels respond correctly to the gyro. All channels respond to standard control inputs Anyone run into something similar? Or, have any ideas? So, when moving the tail up/down CH2 responds correctly but Ch6 does nothing.

According to the manual...
"
The FrSky stabilized receivers have a defined channel order AETRAE as follows:
CH1 Aileron (Left)
CH2 Elevator
CH3 Throttle
CH4 Rudder
CH5 Aileron2 (Right)
CH6 Elevator2
"

Which RX? I ran into a simlar challeng with dual Rudders' on a SR6 and realized that the Archer line only supported stabilization for for 1 rudder. I did not figure out a way to mix my way around this. It could be the same issue with dual elevators.

Are you using Ethos or OpenTX. In the case of Ethos you still need to activate the additional channels

Ethos. And what do you mean by "activate"? I must be missing a step. RX is SR-10Pro & and R4 for signal redundancy.

When you go to the mix menu do you see the additional channels IE 5 and 6 being Ail 2 and possibly Ele 2 in my case in the Ethos menu if not you need to set these up. Also when you look at the output menu you should see the graph bars moving as you move the sticks. You nominated these in the Lua script does not mean the radio is set for these additional channels..The receiver types has no bearing on the radio channel allocation.

@HENNY Yes all surfaces were programmed correctly. They actually work fine...UNTIL I flip the gyro ON. At that time ELE-1 works as expected under the gyro but ELE-2 does not respond. While going thru the gyro settings I flipped ELE-2 direction to Inverted. Well ELE-2 responded by moving the servo center point but still did not function under the gyro.

Solved. I created the model from scratch and the issue was resolved. I have experienced an issue with Cloned models on several occasions. I recall a couple times where the servo was not moving full throw. Perhaps 25%. In those instances I deleted the Mix and rebuilt it. This was different in that the surface moved fine but would not respond to Gyro On corrections.

I will keep that in mind for my next model, thanks.
Just set up my first FrSky SR8 Pro receiver on a gasser and it was a bit of a learning curve as the "manual" is missing several things not least being the channel order.
Luckily the "old" S8R manual had the information and I could build up the stabilization using two ailerons and two elevators....fun..fun
I have configured for "Standard" - Turing Quick mode off. Using two switched to set up the modes...this is a bit clunky

I never got Stabilization to work on FROS nor on OTX so Ethos is a great leap forward for me. I run mine gyro with a single switch (off-on-hold) and use a momentary button for Oh Crap!...using an X20.

I would love to try the "Hover" mode hence the reason for turning off Quick modes..
I may go back depending on how it all works out - need good weather to try it out but for now I am refitting an old 30CC gasser with the Pro receiver.
