It's back! The quasi-annual slope smashup at Coyote Hills Park makes its return in 2026.

Bring your crashable foamie glider for a "contest" between two mighty teams, the Reds and the Whites!

Has your combat wing been resting for years, neglected and sad? Maybe the NiMH pack has committed suicide in the meantime. If so, take action now before its too late...

Where: Glider Hill (lower hill) at Coyote Hills Park in Newark, CA
When: Sunday, August 30th ~ 1PM until whenever
Events: Limbo Racing, The Bagel Drop, Coordinated Collisions and much, much more

Bring: Crash resistant foamie glider (no motors), water, sunblock, a previous year's bagel if you've got it.

Thanks Mitch and everyone that came out yesterday. It was more fun than I remember. We had 12 pilots and a few guest.

@Dominic Bayani mistyped above, there was a dozen pilots split into two teams. The event was super fun and I want to thank @MitchB for putting it together (and anyone else that helped). My buddy Patrick and came from Santa Rosa and it was certainly worth the trip.

Here is my bagel bird...it was tough keeping the bagel on, while at the same time allowing it to fall off. I launched several times and had it liftoff the wing immediately.

That turned out to be a great event. Thanks to Mitch and crew for organizing and setup of this event again. This is not another slope combat event. Mitch has specific rules. The flyers are divided into two groups. The game events , this year's anyway, were Stale Doughnut drop, Hill to hill relay, Limbo and Discriminating combat. Teams worked to earn overall points. All the new rules made it challenging and lot's of fun. Luckily the weather cooperated. Good meeting all the new folks, specially those who've never been to Coyote. Good to be flying with you again Dom, I like the pic above.
