Patrick and I got our kits yesterday and though it would be typical of us to start building on the 20th, I would like to not have to maiden it in a race. So, in order to get started, how do we hinge everything?

I think the recommendation is glue hinges. Uhu Por or even standard silicon sealant. Wayne from
soarkraft just uses plain old silicon sealant and says it is good up to 200mph.

Another question, the larger carbon rod comes into the forward fuselage section but there is no support for it. So what do we do with it?

The two smaller rods will be cut and laid into the channel, but again, there is a large opening at the base. What is the purpose?
