Rafael,
You will enjoy flying it for sure. FMS really got this design right.
I have flown both sizes and both are excellent.
Bigger flys better, as always, but the smaller one fits in my car fully assembled.
In my opinion, gotta make the scheme distinctive. Don't want to look like all the others at the field. ;-)

One tip on the larger FMS Super Cub,
Do not EVER think you can fly without the underwing struts, flimsy as they look.
Do not EVER rely only on the hefty Carbon Fiber Tube wing rod, as robust as it looks.
I thought the struts were sale decoration, but nope, they are functional.
I got one loop okay, but the first roll ripped off a wing.
I got six decent 17 gram mini servos out of the deal though.

As Im prepping planes for Sunset, I remembered an issue with my Z1 and want to run it past the experts here and see what the fix might be.

When flying it, I found that the faster it went, the more it wanted to pitch up and I needed to keep adjusting the trim to get it to fly straight and level. Does this sound like the CG might be slightly to far aft? I need to re-check where I have it set but think that might be a safe bet to try first.

Let me know what you guys think.

I would also like to know your results so I can compare it to my Z1. Sunset will be the maiden for it. 👍🏽
The reading I did recommended a starting point of 35mm (1.375") from the trailing edge so Im sure I am around that number but need to check it again and might try bringing it forward just a mm to two

Just checked the CG and it was a little in front of the 1.375" mark. Had a comment on rcgroups that it was probably nose heavy and that was the case when I checked it. Changed to a lighter receiver and battery and its right on that mark now. We'll see how it flies next week 👍

The two different fonts (or boldness?) is a little distracting, but other than that looks great. For some reason the "soaring with us" looks different.

We don't do a lot of engraving. Mostly just marking balsa parts very lightly. (I don't like to deep or dark etching on balsa parts.)

A new guy joined the 100-inch club yesterday.
He built a Sig Riser-100 from a kit.
Five bucks says he'll be a candidate for an AH-100 with wood fuse kit when it's ready,
because we hit some light air during his first flight day yesterday. He got excited.
