Received a lathe for Christmas. I am bringing an old winch back to life and decided to improve the turnaround. The old one was pretty narrow and would allow the line to jump.

What is your winch? I bought one CHEAP a few years ago... I have no idea where it came from... It looks well built and almost like it was a commercially available set. I got the return spool with it... At least that is what I think it is.
I just realized I don't have pictures of it.

Mine is just a home built I picked up from a local. Based on Ford long shaft. Seems to work.
