I made a flat foam reproduction of Carl Goldberg ZIPPER.
Free flight, except for motor speed control.
Rudder and elevator settings controlled by bread bag wire ties.

With the wind chill, local weather people are warning about frostbite.

To keep myself entertained, I'm building an Astro Flight CHALLENGER.
Reputed to be a very good flying plane. 70-inch span, R&E polyhedral,
designed for motor climb, then RC thermal hunting.

I'm thinking it will perform even better than the contest-wining original

Love the style of the update. It’s a keeper. Any chance ChatGPT can make all the sailplanes have the same basic shape but different colors? Seems like the AI is doing a few weird things with both shapes and blending of colors.
