Yeah, we had the S2 flying over Aloft last summer.. There was a fire in the neighbors pasture. Yikes! They are spotters. Love to get a ride in an OV-10 one of these days. Bucket list plane.

@Yotaman1985 finally getting out to maiden the Carbon T-28 tomorrow. Will be my first time back at our local AMA club in many years. Went to charge my 6s packs and realized i didnt have any xt90 leads for my charger lol. Been a while since i had to worry about powered stuff.

Looks like they may have an rc truck course too.

Awesome Nate! Definitely report back with your thoughts. It was always one of my favorites when I took it out. It just flies so easy. Good luck!

Installed a new header and full custom 2.25" exhaust on the Falcon last week before taking it to its first show in Santa Cruz last Saturday. Ended up putting almost 200 miles on it and it didnt hiccup once. Also, dont worry, my wife and son took the family car to Santa Cruz while I risked my life in the Falcon going over highway 17. 🫣 Its been super fun to cruise around town with the family and my son loves it. He has even helped me work on it too. Gotta start them young... lol

Got two flights on the carbonz t28. Flies great, super easy. Did have an issue with one landing gear no closing completely while in flight. We all looked at it and fond a place where it was hitting a piece of plastic., so shaved that off and it worked great on the second flight.

Awesome! Glad it went well! I had one main gear that would act up but I never looked into it close enough to find that I guess. Glad you found the issue and got it working 👍

slowly getting there. :ROFLMAO: Doesn't sound stock. Next step, I just have to take a 100 mile trip without ending up on the side of the road.:D Goal is Sunset '2026. Maybe GP will bring the Triumph

Not sure if I can bring the TR6 - very limited on the space for the gliders🤣

Now now - Let's not ruin a great event like Sunset by attempting to drive classic British cars full of gliders to the event with 2 of our most important pilots!

If you do, I'll honk as I drive past you on the side of the road. :p

You know how gliders survived long enough to be classics?

By not using Lucas electronics.

:D

Anybody know anything about these Byron f20 fiberglass kits? A buddy of mine was given this by a widow that had it in her house. I guess she was going to donate it to the Ukiah prop busters sometime back and then never came and got it.

We were discussing building it and turning it into an EDF. The two-stroke motor is like immaculate like just out of a blister pack. We're not going to use it for that but it's crazy like even the fiberglass is green. It's not yellow. All the paperwork is like still white. I don't know where she was storing this.
