Sorry, not glider related but I may be a little crazy. I just got back from a trip to Moline IL to pick up a new to me jet. Been wanting on of these for a while and have been saving up when this one popped up. Made a deal with the guy for everything that was too good to pass up. Fortunately I can airline for free as my dad works for Southwest and this was the only reason that it actually happened (seller didnt want to ship it). Flew out to Chicago Friday, drove to Moline to pick it up, drove back to Joliet and boxed it up in the hotel. Dropped it off at Southwest cargo Saturday and flew home Saturday afternoon. It missed its connection flight so I had to wait until Sunday to pick it up, but all arrived safely. Now I just need to find time to setup and program it...

Elite Aerosports BDXs 2M with only one flight and it has MKS servos, Jeti Central Box 220, Swiwin 120 Turbine and Jeti Receivers.

Love the mini-Nova look!! I guess would be up to the builder to come up with a T-tail mod... Is there anything in the 'rules' regarding tail type, size? Is the nose FIA legal?

Are you asking how to smooth out the 3D printed moulds?

I recommend to print it in a different orientation In ABS and use acetone to smooth the layers

I had one that was a glider - Japanese slope kit - few surprisingly well.

I built a foam cutter but it didn't work, so I'm shaping the wings with just a knife and a lot of patience, once ready I'll finish them with sandpaper. So far I've only made one wing.

After many years of talking it up, @Hawaii Sloper finally got me interested in astrophotography. Been playing around with my dslr, telescope, and photo software in prep for this fridays full moon. Been fun remembering i like taking pictures on a "real" camera. I used to be a total camera nerd hauling my Rebel XS everywhere i went. Cell phones make it easy to get good enough photos now. DSLR been sitting on my shelf for a few years.

I have a nice setup for southern stuff, where the moon is right now. Just walk out my back door a couple steps. Up here in lake county we are pretty dark at night, no big cities so that is nice.
