A little more design time on the 2 meter. Joiners are a work in progress. Need to do some more head scratching, toying with how to mount the wing to the fuselage. I have a couple of ideas I'd like to try.

While looking similar to the 2.5 meter, this is more complex as it is transitioning airfoils and the planform is tapering the entire length. This is just the main panel as that is where most of the work goes.

Some guys fly the big fancy ones in So Cal and they looked to have a lot of fun with them. They tended to use the motor most of the time though despite being on a slope.

Jarren has sloped this little one some. It can work, but will take more lift than you may think.

We have a larger one at the shop and I have not been impressed with it. While it is fun for a pack or two, the novelty wears off fast. That and ours simply does not fly all that good. I think the newer units are probably far superior.

rehabilitated an old Mini Talon gifted by my friend HW.
A bit of TLC and it was flying again.
I modified it for tractor propeller operation , because of noise concerns.
Motor: Volantex B4023-Kv 1050
Propeller: MAS 11"x6"
Battery: 3S Lipo 2200 mAh 40C
CG : 55 mm behind leading edge at the wing root
AUW: 1050g
of course, flying LOS ( not FPV ;) )
