Shipping from Czech Republic

As a heads up, many of the models we source from the Czech Republic will be getting a bit more expensive as the lower priced shipping option many of them used has vanished.

We do not know yet how bad this will be, but it looks like it will be about 3 times more expensive to ship. :( Larger manufacturers like TopModel are less impacted as those shipments already were forced into more expensive shipping options.

So if you see a price bump on one of the planes you have been considering, this is why.

Sorry for the bad news.

The price increases are literally everywhere... Feels like we're getting sqeezed at every turn. The good news is that we're all going to get huge raises very soon to equalize it.

Right?

My wife likes going to Starbucks from time to time. She ordered one of her fofo drinks and I guess she was a little shocked by the new price as she commented to the sales staff. The guy said yep, pretty silly, we now have a $9 drink.

Heck, just the prices at the grocery store is rather shocking. I don't know when it happened, but I have become my dad.

Right there with you...... Turn off them damn lights you kids! Don't touch the thermostat!

Here's an idea... I like Starbucks coffee .Brew your Starbucks at home, it saves a fortune (that you can now spend at Aloft😉) that way, you help the planet by not tossing a cup and top into the trash and you avoid parking and waiting in line too.:ROFLMAO: The savings can also be put towards the electric bill.

I buy Starbucks 'House Blend' and 'Espresso' beans at Costco!

Funny story:

In Japan, Starbucks had to close - it was making no money.o_O

Now, if you know Tokyo at 06:00 AM on any given workday morning, and you witnessed its millions of coffee-seeking going-to-work people, you'd think that Starbucks Japan would be a total world-beater profitability-wise - crowded in fact; but it failed.
I asked a Japanese "Salaryman" friend why the franchise cratered, and he merely smiled and exclaimed, "Because we only like good coffee!" (sic)

This is completely true, by the way, although I suspect that the Starbucks juggernaut is not likely making any big thing of it!

Doc.

I’m not a working musician anymore
But if I was, I would be making the same as I made in high school…
It was great back then

Well, with the cost of energy these days, no wonder! I'm always looking to reduce that bill.
