Servos very slow to move with r86 receiver

I just bought some Radiomaster R86 receivers because the FRSKY RX6R and RX4R are unobtanium. My other planes using FRSKY receivers are bound to a TX16S transmitter. They all work fine. The servos on the R86 receiver (including the ESC) all delay working compared to stick movement - on the order of 2 second delay or so. Any ideas, please?

It is an R86-v2. I have it bound using the Frsky D16 protocol. I couldn't get it to bind on the Frsky X2 protocol. I also fine tuned the frequency at 5 per the instructions. I think the fine tuning would affect the range. Thank you for responding.

I love that their receivers and transmitters are so low quality they have to shift the tuning. Only brand that does this that I know of.

Well, if FRsky didn't discontinue the receivers I bought and used, I wouldn't have bought the others. Amazing that the TX16S is so popular. I have 2 Taranis transmitters, and I like the Radiomaster far better - no contest.

The R86 V2 can bind on three different protocols.
FrSky D8
Frsky D16 using FrSky X (not X2)
Futaba SFHFSS

Have you tried using a different protocol to see if the problem goes away?

The frequency fine tuning is part of the way Radio master works. They copied some of the FRsky software but could not perfect it.

Frequency fine tuning is needed because the accuracy of the crystal for the CC2500 device in the multiprotocol module is poor.

Just asking: why not buying an Archer plus R6. It should bind as D16 Accst.

The frequency issue is in the transmitter, not the receiver.
I do understand. I have asked because he argued that he would have liked to buy a frsky receiver (but the RX6R was discontinued).
I think the Archer Plus R6 would have been a good substitute wouldn't it???
Or did I miss some technical arguments??

Nope - Your answer is very correct.
