Screen On / Off on a Switch

I asked this on RCG and got no action.

How do I program the X20 for the screen to turn off as soon as I arm my motor with the throttle cut switch?

Don't think their is an option for this, but you can set your timeout for the screen brightness to a shorter period of time. I think that will do the trick for you??

Since I don’t like having the screen time out while I’m working on the radio, the idea is to disable the timed dimming, keep the brightness constantly; but have it be adjustable on a rotary dial.

To make this work even more cherry would be to have the screen go black when I arm my motor and have the screen turn on when I hit throttle cut. But I don’t know how to do this part.

You can assign the brightness to a dial, long press the 3 lines (hamburger menu) and choose source, then pick something. As to turning it off on a condition, as Wayne said, you cannot do that.
