Sbus expander issue with SR8?

I have a SR8 with a FrSky Sbus decoder plugged into Sbus out. It works as advertised most of time. Every so often, when the receiver is powered up, , the decoder stars glitching, channels seemed to be hooked to incorrect ports and all the attached servos (to the decoder) start buzzing. If I power cycle the receiver, it will reboot just fine and everything works again.

Any ideas?

What version of RX firmware are you on. Is you receiver the SR8, SR8 Pro, Archer Plus SR8

It is a SR8 Plus running 3.0.1. Its a royal PITA to remove if the gyros need recalibration (which IIRC needs to happen every time the FW is updated)..

First of all, what Transmitter do you use ??? And what transmitter firmware (Ethos, OpenTx or EdgeTx ????

I have updated my Archer plus SR8 from V2.0.10 to V3.0.3 recently without new calibration and it works fine.
