I have Topflite Giant Scale P-47 and I'm changing it over from DX18 to my X20s. I needed the Decoder for more channels than S8R has. I was thing adding 900 receiver for redundancy. Since I have Sbus Decoder for more channels will I be able do this and if so what will I have do.

Sure, you can do all of that, but be very mindful of the amp load for all of those servos. Chances are you will need to add a few extra wires to help deliver all of the power needed. Or use some sort of a power distribution system.

I only have the Retracts on the Decoder and two life batteries 3000mah packs. Where do I plug the redundancy receiver if I'm already using it for the S-bus on the receiver for the Decoder. Do I plug it into the Decoder? This my first time doing a redundancy receiver, don’t want to screw up. Thanks for your help.

For redundancy, you will plug the second receiver into the Sbus IN port, and the decoder will be on the Sbus OUT port.
