S6R and UNI V83 firmware

Hi,

1- I have installed the UNI-RX V83 in my S6R and all works well. However I still have the message "telemetry lost" when my transmitter is very close to the receiver. Is it normal? Is UNI-RX supposed to eliminate this message? I had the same results with one X9R as well.
2- For the S6R there is the global gain on channel 9 which seems to act on the stabilizer on AIL, ELE, RUD. Are the individual gains multiplied with the unique CH9 gain to give a final gain? What is the mathematical result with the gains for the S6R?

Regards,

1. How close? If very close (antennae within 4 inches) there is still a possibility the telemetry signal will swamp the Tx module.
2. Yes multiplied. They are percentages so if the individual gain for AIL is 50 and channel 9 is at 50, the resulting gain is 25%.

Hi Mike,

1- yes correct, i have to be very close < 4 inches to get the message, for both receivers. But it is much better than before. So not a problem.

2- thanks.
