S6R - A Strange Anomaly Discovered

I have recently upgraded the FW of my Taranis QX7 internal Module to ACCST 2.1.0 FCC and installed Aloft UNI - FW on supported receivers. All work fine. I have installed ACCST 2.1.0 FCC FW on my S6R receivers and this is where the fun has begun. I cannot implement S6R Quick Mode which is rather frustrating as I have no requirement to use knife-edge or hover. It is almost as though the Chanel 10 signal is not being transmitted when used alone. Chanel 12 works and provides self-level calibration. The end result is that I get self-level in all three switch positions (+2012 / 1500 / -988) as a default.

When I set the combined Chanels 10 and 11 and set up the full circus everything works as it should. Chanel 9 provides gain control and Chanel 12 provides self check switching.
I am binding in D16 mode with Telemetry On.
Is there some magic genie inside my TX who has found a way to block a Chanel output following the internal module FW upgrade to 2.1.0?

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. Having UNI firmware on your supported receivers should have no effect on between your OEM FW SR6 and your transmitter.

Thats ok - I was simply pointing out that everything except S6R was working fine after the upgrades. I have now managed to move forward by locating an aircraft set-up file for an S6R that works fine and am using it as a template to replace files that won't work. While the mixer outputs appear to be working on those files nothing is getting to the S6R.
It appears that most of the S6R setups that worked previously have been corrupted by the internal TX ACCST 2.1.0 upgrade.

Please check the S6R thread as FrSky has made many changes to that firmware over the years. I have failed to keep up to date on the changes, I know quickmode changed.

I have found a thread where someone has discovered that the channel 12 self check switch left on +1800 can override the Channel 10 switch positions and lock quick mode in Straight & Level at all 3 positions. This was not a problem for me with V 1.x.x ACCST as I was setting up 6 axis using 10 & 11. Problem appeared following V2.1 upgrade when I changed to quick mode for "simplicity" but did not change the switch on Channel 12. Once I deleted the Channel 11 mix the problems commenced. I have not seen any documentation with the latest S6Rs that mentions this.

Channel 12 is the auto level, or "panic" mode. You should assign that to a momentary switch if you want the behavior, or disable it if you don't.
Here is a screenshot from the manual you can fetch here: https://www.frsky-rc.com/wp-content/uploads/Downloads/Manual/S6R&S8R/S6R S8R -Manual.pdf
