I accidently pull out one the Antennas on my SR10PRO do they have Antenna replacement and would you trust your receiver with the replacement antenna? Or should just purchase another receiver.
Thanks
Antennas are user replaceable components. There is no need to retune.
May I ask why you would consider trashing an RX as a result of a damaged antenna? I'm trying to understand the thought process of the throw away world.
Dear Sir! I don't want to throw away the RX, this is why I'm asking the Question. Can you replace the antenna for the SR10 PRO and are they reliable. I've just invested $2000. dollars in my new plane and want to make sure i have great connection with my X20s.
Ok, make sure to use an adhesive that is transparent to RF. I like to test the dried glue on a piece op paper placed in a microwave. If the glue is still cold after being subjected to the microwaves for a few seconds (10 sec) it is RF safe. Most contact cement and hot glues are fine. But do test in the microwave prior to using on your RX. Also please perform a range test.
Oh, also protect the RX in foam from engine and prop vibrations. I also like to support the antennas so they don’t fracture.
