RX8R pro firmware problem

I've been trying to get 2 RX8R pro to connect with RB20. With the latest firmware 2.1.1, it only works if I leave one smart port unplugged. As soon as I plug both in, I only get a green light on rx1. I swapped in 2 X8R's just to see if the problem is with RB20 and it worked perfectly.

I'd like to be using the latest firmware, but this obviously has a problem. How difficult is it to get Frsky to check this out and generate new firmware?

Well if anyone cares, I'm certain now that there's a problem with the RB20. I switched to 2 x8Rs and even used a different tx. All seemed ok, but after about a 10 minute flight, the servos started twitching. Was fortunate to get the plane on the ground ok. The servos spasms got pretty bad by the time I got inside to look at the status lights on the rxs. They were still green. Rebooting made everything normal again.

I don't have the RB20 but the RX8R antennas are very close to your servo cables which could cause the servo twitching. I would rotate the RX 90 deg and run the antenna wires as far away as possible from the RB20 , even extend the S-port cable to allow at least 6 to 8 inches away. RF from the antennas that close could be the servo interference issue. Lastly I don't see the un-screened antenna end, did you cut it off or is that black heat shrink over the end.

The antennas came with black shrink on them.

Thanks for the idea on proximity. It's interesting that it works perfectly fine for about 10-15 minutes before having an issue. Also strange it that all of the servo movement stops as soon as I cycle the power switches.

I'm going to put it together and see if I can get it to act up without flying.
