RX8R Pro binding/activation problem

I'm updating all my receivers to UNI-RX. My X8Rs and a RX8R Pro all went fine but I have 2 RX8R Pros in a gas powered P51D Mustang, one runs the fuselage (it went fine) the other runs the wing and U/C and it is this 2nd one that causing me grief.
It seems to bind OK (D16 Channel 9-16 Telem off) but when I run the activation script I get nothing back, no codes. Tranny is on 2.3.11 and UNI_RX is latest.
Is there something different about the binding for paired RX8R pro? I did the same as for the previous X8R.

Since the activation operation works using telemetry, you need to bind with telemetry enabled to activate the Rx, then, after activation, bind with telemetry off.

Please bind to just the one receiver when trying to activate UNI.
