RX8R PRO and XM+ Issue: Involuntary Throttle Movement

Hello all. I hope someone can help me. I have been flying my gas powered plane all summer with a Horus X10S and an RX8R PRO and an XM+ connected to it via SBUS. The firmware was the original for those two receivers. Everything was fine all summer. Then:
- I purchased the access upgrade module for the X10S, installed it, updated OTX, updated the ISRM firmware as per instructions for ACCESS and D16 operation and made sure I had D16 selected for my plane.
- Then I upgraded both of the receivers in said plane to ACCST 2.1.x as per instructions.

Everything is working on my plane fine but here is the funny part. You know how ACCST 2.1.x is supposed to stop involuntary servo movement? Well, I never had it on the original system but I have it now.
When I put my radio on the table near the plane (closest to the XM+ receiver), everything once in a while the throttle servo moves from where it is to somewhere else in a big way. When this happens I notice the light on the XM+ is flickering. When I move my radio further away it stops.

So then I take the radio and walk to the front of the plane maybe a foot in front of the engine (the RX8R PRO is about 2.5 ft away and the XM+ is 3.5ft to 4ft away. Sure enough it does it again at random.

I will start trouble-shooting but I thought I would ask for input before I go wasting time chasing ghosts.

Thank you in advance.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Yes this can be an issue with D16 if the TX is too close to the receiver. Its called swamping. If you move 2 meters away this is issue does not occur. I have been running ACCESS now for many months and this issue along with Telemetry lost Telemetry recovered are gone.

Sounds like you may be dropping into your failsafe setting due to swamping..? Is the radio saying telemetry lost?

ACCESS seems to be much better in this issue.

Thank you for the quick replies Henny and Wayne. The radio is not saying telemetry lost when this happens. Very glad to hear this goes away with ACCESS.
Thank you again.

If you decide to use ACCESS remember to adjust the RSSI values in the telemetry page to 32 and 35 db in D16 it is 42 45db.
