RS8Pro flaps not working after using the R&S switch to calibrate the gyro

I set up a new plane that has flaps retracts 1 aileron,1 elevator 1 rudder 1 engine and using the gyro with the R&S switch. All worked well until I used the R&S switch to calibrate the gyro after doing the calibration and moving both control sticks the flaps no longer work. I tried using another new SR8Pro receiver and I had the some thing happen with both of the receivers. I tried to moving the flaps to channel 6 and the flips still will not work. The radio shows that the flaps are working but they don't work. I noticed that the flaps were moving up and down during the R&S calibration, I would have thought that the flaps would have not moved when I used the calibration switch, but I am unsure about that. Please, if any one has any ideas what I did wrong let me know. I am at a loss about this.

Thank You

Did the led switch turn blue? Sequence is activate self check, solid blue light, once it starts blinking move the sticks to the limits, then wait for the surfaces to dance completing the self check.

If your RX and TX are up to date, you can also initiate the calibration from within Ethos and not deal with flipping switches back and forth.

Thank all of you for your help. I was able to resolve the issue with the flaps, apparently, I had a conflict between channel 5 and 8 they were both trying to the use the flaps at the same time. I removed Chanell 5 that had flaps on it as well and all is working well.

I am unsure how to do that without flipping the switch, how do you do that? The RX and Tx are up to date. Any info is welcome and appreciate Thx.

So, is the rx on 1.2.1? TX on what is it, 1.2.8 I think? Then to enter self check you go to configure devises, choose sxr, go down a bit more than a page and activate the self check. The light on the rx should turn blue. After completing deactivate the self check toggle.

If the light doesn't turn blue make sure the throttle is set for -100 at the bottom, if it still doesn't work reverse the direction on the throttle temporarily until you get self check done.
