Hey Wayne, what FrSky receiver did you use? What battery? I'll place another order and click "pick up" and then just have you bundle it into my pre-order shipment. I made a note in my pre-order not to ship until I ordered the rest of the stuff.

I can't take credit for that one, Rafael's idea. We didn't like it at first when he suggested it, but he drew them up and installed into the wing we all loved the look of them.

Oh, and well, turns out this is a very easy build. We built this out in less than 2 hours, and that is with us going slow on the first build and noting small issues to adjust.

I honestly expected to run into some unseen issue, but it sailed right along. Sure enough, the new bulkhead concept is a winner! Self jigs very well if you follow the correct sequence.

Where can I get one of those Aloft Hobbies plane stand I didn’t see them on the website. Also, what’s your purple sanding block called? And lastly, the yellow tape is that masking tape I’ve never seen yellow.

The yellow tape is a favorite of mine. We use it around the shop. You can find the good stuff here:

Actually it’s a black sanding block with purple sandpaper in it.I ordered two of the stands. I don’t want to hijack this thread I was just curious after taking a close look at the photos of your work area. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been building and flying and just got back into the hobby a couple weeks ago. So much has changed. I need to rebuild my shop so that’s why the questions. I’ll PM you so I don’t add to the distraction.

We will show a very detailed build here and also in our instruction manual. This will be a great place to ask questions or suggest any changes. We will try to be even more details when we write up the manual. This may be helpful for first time builders. But if you have any questions, PLEASE ASK.

NOTE: If you are planning to build this as an electric, there are a few changes to B2 and the servo tray that will make an electric version much nicer. We will outline that a little later in this thread. The modifications will allow the motor, ESC and battery to all reside under the canopy, and...
