Resetting memory slots on myXD9+

I’m running out of clean memory slots on my XD9+ radio. I use the Flex Aura8 flight controller on my Flex planes. Every thing works great until I change a parameter in the program. I lose the “Crow” function until I set the plane in a different memory slot that has never been used. After 8 years, clean memory slots are hard to find. Model memory slots are not “clean” when a model is deleted. Resetting empty memory slots is beyond my knowledge. Help!

There is no need to reset. That is not even a thing. Something is pretty wrong with your system. What OS is installed? FROS (I hope not!), OpenTX, or EdgeTX?
If OpenTX or EdgeTX, backup your models using the respective Companion tool, and do a complete reinstall - including reformatting the SD card.
Make sure for OpenTX or EdgeTX that the OS, the bootloader, the SD files, and Companion are all the same version of the respective system.
If using FROS, uninstall ASAP and move to one of the other two.

While not the cause of your issue, crow should be implemented in the Aura, not on the Transmitter. Ditto with rates, expo. The Aura works best when the TX is set up as a "dumb" 4 channel radio, plus a few switches on additional channels to turn on/off conditions and modes in the Aura for gyros, rates, crow, etc.

You can delete rows (models) in Companion and on the radio itself. However, I agree with @sande005 in that there is something else wrong. My suggestion in these cases is always to share the model file and then give steps to show the problem.
