? Regarding setting Ethos Special Function

Asking for help in setting up a special function in Ethos to give voice readout of Pot 1 position.
Tx: tandem x20 pro with firmware ver 1.5.9 FCC
Rx: TD SR10 HW 1.3.0. FW. 1.0.11
Tried to set up special function to “Play Value” of Pot 1 which I am setting up as the stabilizer gain control.
However, unable to find “Play Value” as a selection.
Listed selections are
Reset
Screenshot
Set Failsafe
Play Audio
Haptic
Write logs
Play text
Go to screen
Lock touchscreen
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Play Audio is what you want. After adding that go to the bottom of the screen and you will see this:

Add a new line to the sequence and you get here:

The reason for all this is that now you can play multiple sounds and can play values as well as files. It's much more powerful now.

First, thank you for your help. As I stated in my post, I cannot find an option for “Play Value”. I am only seeing options for “Play Audio” and “Play text” and the others I listed but no “Play Value”. Do you have any idea how to get the “Play Value” option to show up?

Yes things have change a bit. So select play audio then proceed to the bottom of the menu and select "add a new line in sequence" then you will find play value.

Thank you for your help. I do not post questions without first researching things deeply. I am appreciative of your advice and found “Play value” exactly where you directed me. This one just eluded me.

Arggg, I just edited my post as the sentence in my head was "Play audio is what you want" but I typed "Play value is what you want". Sorry for the confusion

I'm having problems in this same area. I am following the steps above-I also was going crazy trying to find "play value". New X20RS with Ethos 1.6.3, Neuron II ESC, and TW GR8 receiver with vario- all upgraded firmware. I am trying to use Special Function 17 using switch SC (middle) to get altitude callout. I have configured SC up for "play vario" successfully. I have configured volume control on Tx at pot 2. Both vario and altitude use the receiver vario telemetry- and both show up active in telemetry screens. However, I am not getting any callouts for altitude. I'm also trying to set up GPS speed callout for SC (down): again, no callouts. In Special Functions, I am seeing SF16, SF17, and SF18 go dim/bright as I move switch SC. My callouts for "speed", "thermal", "landing", etc. are working. Do I need to specify a voice source somewhere?

SOLVED

In SYSTEM>GENERAL>AUDIO>LANGUAGE, VOICE 2 and VOICE 3 were blank. I populated them with US and GB audio files. THEN in the MODEL>SPECIAL FUNCTIONS>EDIT screen, selected VOICE2, us. Now I get callouts for the different flight modes from the VOICE 1, (Mike Shellim tracks folder)- and altitude callouts from the VOICE 2 us audio folder.
