Redundant RX with RB-40

I was looking at Power Boxes for redundant power and redundant RX solutions.(Specifically the FrSky RB-40 since it has redundant Power, RX and a built in Gryo) Lots of interesting solutions out there, however most RX are 8 channel only (unless you want to invest in s.bus RX which cost a lot more) I have more than 8 channels that I am using so in order to do that I would need to daisy chain 2 RX together ( I use FrSky)...so in order to have redundant RX, I would essentially need to have 4 receivers. Like the picture below, I would essentially need 2 more RX in series to attach to RX2. Does that make sense? Is there another way to accomplish this? (other than s.bus capable digital servos)

No , FrSky gear all offer at least 16 channels via Sbus. The newer ACCESS units offer up to 24 channels per receiver.

Correct...but that would require digital s.bus servos right? All of them on a chain and digitally programmed? Thats the only way I understand to do it with a single receiver using more than 8 physical channels plugged in...oh wait I think I see what you are saying. All of my servos are plugged into the RB-40 and I can set the receivers channel to the matching channel on the RB-40...is that correct? But would that still require digital sbus servos since those channels are only available via sbus?

Awesome! Thanks, just made my life a little easier. Now I have to get a new transmitter to support ACCESS...I love my X9D but that ACCESS seems pretty feature rich
