Redundancy setup for a jet plane

I am shortly to start building a Hanger 9 Aermacchi MB-339 turbine powered plane and I want to use a safe redundancy bus system but am struggling to decide on which to choose: RB-25S, 35S or 40.

Cost is not the issue here but size may be - I don't know yet how tight it will be. My Tx is the X18 Tandem.

However, I want to have a stabilised version so I will not need stabilised receivers. So why would I choose the RB-40 over the 25S?

I will need 9 channels for servos/throttle but don't know if I need additional channels for the stabilisation control. I would think no more than 16 will be adequate.

Then, how many channels (PWM) are needed in the receiver, assuming SBus output would provide the necessary 16 channels, so would not a 6 channel Rx be sufficient?

Any thoughts advice appreciated. (Wayne pointed me to the German FrSky forum site but it's too hard work!) Thanks.

I don't understand why I cannot edit my OP.

Having reviewed a few FrSky YouTube videos on set up of stabilized receivers and RB35S, I'm beginning to think I'm biting off more than I can chew!

Do you see the edit button at the bottom of the posting? That should work.
Slow response. Sorry.
No, I don't see the edit button at the bottom of any of my posts. EDIT!! Now I have found it very faint on my screen, bottom left. :) Thanks.

On the setup side, I have gone for the TD SR18 receiver with a TDMX redundancy Rx. Somewhat simpler than using the RB and fulfils my need.

Thanks for all advices. Jerry
