Redundancy Bus-10 battery connection

I wonder if I have to solder a battery connectors on to exposed Batt1 and Batt2 terminals or do I just plug in batteries into channel port like "traditional" way to receivers?

Also is that possible to use a long range Rx, such asFrSky L9R along side X8R at Redundancy bus or wiring through RSSI port?

To take advantage of the redundancy features of the RB-10 you need to connect batteries to the BATT1 and batt2. The RB-10 senses the voltage on both and uses the greater of the two to power everything else. I don’t think it’s recommended to supply power through a channel port.

Yes. Solder at least one power source to BATTx pads.
