RANGES OF R9M SYSTEM WITH THE Tandemn stock radio antenna.

what kind of range can i expect to get from the frsky r9m access system with the x20s radio built in antenna. should i replace the antenna with a known "good" one since the antenna that they usually ship with tx and vtx and crap. are these built in antenna better quality than the usual?. the flex option won't work with the r9mm firmware so i have to use fcc and set the power output. anybody know what kind of range i can expect from 100mW 915Mhz r9 system?? i plan on flying 2 to 3 mi. do i meed more power for that? thanks for the help.

100mw could get you 5 to 10 miles, depending on your craft altitude and what is in its way, IE a mountain.
