Radiomaster compatible receivers

We do not deal with anything Radiomaster, but last I knew their products could talk with FrSky ACCST receivers, so yes. These units should work for you:

I have been flying FRsky receivers with my Radio Master Boxer radio. However, I recently purchased a Rx8R-Pro with UniRx on it and won't bind to the Radio Master radio. An older Rx8R-pro with the FRsky software binds just fine. Is this a bug in the UniRX or is the incompatibility intentional?

If your Radiomaster has the 4 In 1 module then it can do FrSky ACCST, which means that the FrSky X8R and RX8R Pro receivers will work with it.

Should work, UNI receivers bind OK for me using a MPM.
When you power a UNI Rx on in bind mode, the red LED should be on, but blink off every half a second (when it changes to another possible protocol).
The MPM, when binding, often only stays in binding mode for a short time. This may not be long enough for UNI to detect the required protocol and carry out the tuning function.
Try:
Power the Rx on in binding mode.
Check the red LED is blinking off every half a second.
Now put the Tx into bind mode, fine tuning set to 0. The Rx should stop blinking the red LED at some point indicating it has detected the correct protocol. If it doesn't stop blinking then change the fine tuning on the Tx, try both +30 and -30.
Once the red LED has stopped blinking, if the Tx drops out of bind mode, just restart bind mode. Also try moving the Tx further away. The Rx needs to receive quite a few packets in order to establish the required tuning value, this may take some time (several seconds). When bind completes, the red LED is off and the green LED flashes.

Thanks for the suggestions, I wasn't successful getting the Rx8R to bind using the Boxer internal 4in1 module. I can plug in an external iRangeX MPM and the receiver will bind.

Is the red LED flashing with about equal on and off times or is it mostly on just blinking off briefly?

Mike

I just went to verify the flashing LED and the receiver bound. I must have the tried over 20 times to bind the Rx8R-Pro and X8R with UNI unsuccessfully. Now I'll have try and repeat the unsuccessful bind to figure why it bind failed.

Thanks for your help. If I figure it out I'll post it here.
