Hello Wayne,
We have spoke via email about my QX7 now giving me very low RSSI numbers with different receivers. I have decided to send the Transmitter back to Aloft for service.
Would you like me to also send the receivers with it for a look-see of them also, New RX6R with XM+, a new RX8R pro, and a X6R that was used in an 88" electric model. The QX7 now shows RSSI going critical less than 42 right after take off.
An interesting note is that I still have total control of the various planes with the above receivers were in when in Range check mode, with a displayed RSSI of "0" . RSSI in range check mode reads " 0" at less than 30' but I still have total control of gas powered plane at over 300' with planes tether to the ground in range check mode.
Another annoying thing is with XM+ bound to memory 3 it will run the servos in memory 3 with the RX6R unbound to #3 memory . I can not get the servos to operate when I substitute the RX8Rpro for the RX6R receiver doing the same test, using the very same XM+.

PS: Do I need any special labeling of my radio for your attention?
