Hi all don't know what happened but, I have been at this problem for awhile. I got a taranis QX7 that wont bind correctly to S8R or S6R now. It worked about a month ago, or before updates or I damaged a file ? So I downloaded FW 2.3.9 from Frsky then went to open tx down companion which said version 2.3.11 is the newest. So radio up to newest. I also updated a S8r and S6R from Frsky 2.1.1FCC Now the issues the S8R when trying to bind show green LED but only output on channel 4. The S6R binds showing green and yellow LED and also one channel working. I have a Irange plus multi module in the back , it does bind to my Flysky and HK orange receiver. Everything worked before, now the QX7 is a brick as you said. So I would appreciate any tech help. Thanks all

Not a tech. But it looks like you haven't upgraded theTX ISRM to ACCST 2.1.0.
This has nothing to do with OpenTX. There are at least two microprocessors in this radio. The main FrSky one is in the ISRM RF section (Internal module). The other is the OS (Operator interface) that is OpenTX. It looks like updated the RF section of the RX but have failed to Update the RF section of the TX (ISRM to ACCST 2.1.X)
