Questions about the Frsky Tandem TD SR12 receiver

I'm curious about the Frsky Tandem TD SR12 receiver. A couple of questions:

I'm confused about the two XT30 plug receptacles on the receiver that are stated to be able to connect to an "NFT switch panel". I've never seen a receiver with XT30 plug receptacles. The write-up was not clear to me. Is this for some sort of power switch? I don't get it. Plus, why would you need two such switches?

Also, this statement was found in the write-up: "Built-in High-Precision Telemetry Sensor (Altitude, Vertical Speed, etc.)". Does this mean it comes with an onboard vario sensor? Are there other sensors on board as well, since they added the "etc."?

Thanks for humoring a newbie!

Yes, the TD-SR12 comes with built in vario (altimeter). The switch connections give you the option to power the RX off/on without needing to unplug the batteries. Note, the batteries are not required - you can still just power it through your throttle/ESC connection if you choose.
