Prusa i3 MK3S+ Build log and the road to "the quieting"

Yeah, I'd like to see something like that for my Mega. Really need to remove the tip fins for transport, but keep them on in combat.

Almost done.

Does it come with an SD card or the little silver usb drive? If you have the USB drive the best thing you can do is throw it away.

Hey Guys,
I just purchased a Spool of TPU Flexible Filament ( Black ) for use on my ASK-14. Has anyone had
any experience with this material on a Prusa? The Filament feels just like a string of rubber.

Tom,
I have printed tires for my PlanePrint Savage Bobber with this filament on my Prusa MK3s+ and they came out very well. I used the included build plate and my first batch stuck to the build plate so tightly that I almost didn’t get them off without destroying the build plate. I then cleaned my build plate with a weak dish detergent solution followed by 99% isopropyl alcohol and printed 3 more sets of tires with use of a glue stick before each printing and this allowed very easy detachment of the tires. The tires are amazingly designed.
A question for you. I noted you are working on the PlanePrint ASK-14 and I have completed printing mine with acceptable results. However, I cannot get the spinner to come out right and keep getting defects in the print at the apex of the spinner. I contacted Rene at PlanePrint with my difficulties and he suggested some tweaks in my Cura profile but still did not get acceptable results. I wonder if you got acceptable results with your spinner? If so, would you be willing to share your print profile for the spinner?
Thanks in advance.

@Nigel it came with the sd card. Printed out the prusa head beer opener this morning with it.
Congratulations Nate!
I can tell by your test print that you have your calibration dialed pretty close. When I was setting up my, I was very shy about dialing the z axis down and printed about 8 of the test prints before getting the curves in the test print to stick properly to the build plate. My grandkids each have several Prusa Logos to play with.

@RafaelAvila is our TPU expert here. If you have any questions he should be able to get you going. But the Prusa works very well with the TPU, even the really soft versions.

slow down the print speed and follow the manufactory instructions for temperature. I'm doing 25mm here for most of TPU 90 or 95a Shore be careful with ninjaflex you need to go way slow in speed to have successfully prints since its 85a Shore

walked out to my shop this morning and just hit the on button and selected the beer opener test print. Pretty awesome that i didnt have to do any bed leveling and it came out pretty much perfect.

I started off the lack stack project by printing the Power supply holder. 3.5 hr print on pla. This moves the psu outside the enclosed box so it doesnt get hot.

*** @Wayne we can upload video files directly now ??

Had a couple false starts this weekend but after some assistance from @RafaelAvila and another friend i got the last of my ikea stuff printed out. I ended up cleaning the bed with isopropyl, spraying some aquanet, and increasing the bed heat by 5c as this is in my shop.
