Programming flaps onto DX8 G2

Wondering if anyone has any experience programming flaps onto a DX8 G2. Seems like it should be pretty easy but I am STRUGGLING. I would like to have my flaps connected to my throttle stick so that when I move the throttle down 50%, the flaps drop. For the second 50%, I would like to activate a crow setting. Anyone have any experience with this type of radio and setup?

I would strongly recommend that you get one of the Sherman Knight guides for the DX8G2 . He has two one for a 6 servo sailplane with motor and one with out.. His guides come with templates that you can load into your radio and use as starting blocks for your glider..
