Product review “Aloft Ultimate R/C Stand”

I’m just getting back into the hobby after a long Hiatus and I have been ordering lots of stuff from Aloft Hobbies.

Now I’m flying at Sunset Beach once a week and having a blast.


The GOOD – It works … better than you think, the padded fingers are adjustable in so many ways, it holds the glider steady at any angle.
They even send a piece of candy with each order. Hats off to the genus who invented this thing.

The BAD – They got me hooked on Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

The UGLY – I ordered a R/C Stand and in the box was a melted Reese’s ….. WTF!
On a couple orders they tried pulling a fast one by slipping in a random candy bar in-lieu of the Reese’s.
Aloft Hobbies should be ashamed in the lack of quality control back in the candy selection department.

I want my Reese’s Damit … a bunch of Clowns I till you LOL

PS You should buy a “Aloft Ultimate R/C Stand” you won’t regret it

Last year we switched away from the chocolates to other candies to avoid the melting. Ouch we got a lot of complaints.

I know I am biased, but everytime I use one I think to myself finally a decent stand. I think we have all used the other stuff on the market.. Tried to fix them, or made our own temporary units from whatever we had laying around.

It makes me really happy to hear that feedback. This stand was born on my desk when my wife gave me a T-28 and I had no place to build it, so I worked on it for a couple of days and finally came up with a good place to put airplanes together.

P.S. Sometimes when I do shipping, I make it a “Reese’s Day”, so all the orders go out with the same chocolate.
