problems trying to setup Heli swash HR3 with AETR but throttle zero on top (throttle input "-throttle")

Shouldn't this be very simple - inverting an output inverts a single servo direction so they ALL move "up" (or down, which is wrong) when you command "up", and inverting an input to the mixer inverts the resulting motion such that "up" is indeed "up" (not "down") and "forward" is "forward"?

Hello,

Some more info.

The CopterX here is simular to the one you show.
When you press and hold enter on the input for the throttle you get a menu to reverse the throttle, this generates "-throttle", same for the pitch

Servo CYCL1 is channel 1 and is the left airleron servo (looking at the heli from behind)
Servo CYCL2 is channel 2 and is the rear swash plate servo
Servo CYCL3 is channel 6 and is the right airleron servo
Chanel 3 is throittle, 4 is rudder and 5 is Gyro gain

All servo's function in the correct direction, roll and collective pitch with the exception of the nick, CYCL2 is correct but CYCL1 and 3 go up instead of down
the max throw on the Nick is CYCL2 50% and CYCL1 and CYCL3 25%.

I'll try your suggestions a.s.a.p.

Thanks for the information,
Regards, Henk

your Tx should be able to change direction of both your editing/programming types (CYCL and Servo channel), if they are identical you have a problem. Copter/Heli setup is optimized with Roll, Nick, Pitch and Rudder – your sticks move the same but the function changes direction.
If two functions are correct, let's assume your copterX, roll and pitch then you have to change the direction of stick input. If only one function is correct (assume nick), then better to find a solution with channel directions.

inputs are sticks and command functions of roll, pitch nick...
output is servo movement

in between servo mixing! ?

It has been a while since I have setup a flybar heli, and as such, my advice for reversing the throttle direction, though it does work, is more complicated that it needs to be. Below is a link to a video demonstrating the entire process. Prior to starting the video shoot, all I did was create the model and bind the receiver, then did the following.
  1. Go to outputs page and adjust servo directions such that pulling the throttle down resulted in all servos moving the swashplate up.
  2. check aileron & elevator diretion
  3. Adjust alieron and/or elevator using the appropriate rate.
  4. DONE.

yes, next steps are THR to CP setups... I mostly liked the V n U shaped e ?
attached from T-Rex250 manual, a small beast.
