Need some detailed written help for this process (I have watched many YouTube videos on this subject and read the FrSky receiver manual many times and read the posts in this thread many times).
Tx: 20ProAW
Firmware 1.5.11 FCC flashed through Ethos Suite July8, 2014
Rx. TD-ISRM PRO
HW: 1.3.0
FW: 1.0.11
Did not realize new firmware for TX included the Stabilization tools in the device configuration file, so downloaded the appropriate LUA scripts from FRSky and copied to root directory in a file labeled “scripts” on the radio. These now reside in the System directory for the radio.
Next calibrated the receiver using these tools. This seemed to work.
A simple model was created with 1 engine, fixed wing with 2 ailerons, 1 elevator, 1 rudder.
Channels assigned
1. R ail
2. Elev
3. Throttle
4. Rud
5. L ail
13. Gain and assigned to Pot 2
14. Stabilization mode and assigned switch G
Initially tried to set up basic mode using tools in downloaded LUA scripts and seemed to work, but could never get Switch G to select between the 3 basic modes or allow me to see if the modes were correctly set up.
Then learned that the stabilization tools are now found in the device configuration folder.
On my radio, this file folder only shows up in the System directory but is not seen in the model directory.
I have obviously done something wrong, but do not know how to proceed from here. Any help would be much appreciated.
Are the LUA scripts I downloaded and placed in the radio root directory causing conflicts and if so should I delete them?
Any idea why the device configuration folder does not show up in the model specific file?
Need detailed steps to get channel 14 mode switch assignments set up correctly
Thanks,l
