Problem with Frsky td 10

Jim wz

New User
New to Frsky radios/receivers. In the process of setting up my plane I've encountered a strange occurrence. Everything was working well until I tried to set up flaps, suddenly all servos, except the rudder servo stopped responding. The same rudder servo will work in all other ports of the td 10, throttle, elevator, aileron etc but the original servos plugged into those ports do not. The original servos work fine when plugged into my Futaba receiver. This is frustrating, anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve this. Thanks!

do you have some screenshots of your programming approach, maybe u didn't weight the linked sources with outputs....

Hey Jim,

Not sure what you may have run into here. Not much for us to go on to help troubleshoot.

When in doubt, start over with a fresh model program, if that fixed it, then it was something you accidentally did in the programming.

Another thing I find handy when debugging is to use the "view per channel" option.

In the example below you can see that both ailerons and rudder affect channel 4 (rudder). Doing this can be quite helpful when trying to figure out why a servo moves too much or too little.

Not yet that familiar with all the programming in Ethos but everything was working ok until this issue came up.

Since you report that a servo plugged into the other ports is working, I don't think that is going to be a receiver issue.

For sure check that output screen.

Will do, thanks! It's interesting, they are all digital servos but the one (previously mentioned rudder servo), is a high end Hitec d950tw, both of the ones I have will work in all ports yet another high end Spectrum 6300 will not.
