Post ETHOS update recovery (My model doesn't work as before)?

I have a couple of models that have not been flown for many ETHOS updates and I would like to attempt to salvage as much of the setup as possible after having updated my X20S earlier this month.
Is there any way to print out the existing setup so one has a clue where to make changes when things just don't work any more under the latest version of ETHOS?

Ethos updates models the first time they are selected. This means that once you have updated Ethos you will be unable to see the "old" values. I believe the updates have gone fine with the exception of one, which was something like 1.4.17 => 1.5 (don't quote me on the exact versions).
The only way for you to see the "existing setup" would be to go back to an older version of Ethos and viewing the pre-updated model there.

Thank you, I dread updates as it seems there is always something that gets messed up. The one that reworked VARs took 3 of my gliders out of service until Mike Shellim released updated templates. I now skip most updates unless they advertise fixing something I have issues with, I would rather fly than fight with my radio.

I have been pretty much done the opposite. There were big changes when they went from 1.4 to 1.5 due to the introduction of Vars. I am newer to gliders and have always used Mike Shellim's templates (shout out to Mike). Still, when I updated the radio into the 1.5 realm I waited until Mike came up with new, "Var improved" templates and then I updated. Here, there is no update path, so I went through and wrote down all my point values and started setting everything up. It wasn't trivial, but it wasn't a major deal. Of course, I only have a few gliders :)
Anyway, I update when one is available as I don't want to get too far behind.
The one feature I am still asking for is an auto-updater for models. Models are only updated when you actually open them and at one point there was a 1.4 -> 1.5 conversion problem if your 1.4 was less than some value. Given that models are not updated until selected, you could easily have been keeping up to date with updates, but not opened some of your models. This would then lead to failures when you finally opened them. They argue this won't happen again, but I have been a software engineer for 40 years and I can tell you that just ain't true; if it happened once, it can happen again.
If it were me writing the software, Suite would first make a version labeled backup of all models, and then update all of them. Further, each model would have a flag indicating whether or not that model had been opened since it has been updated, so that it could provide a warning dialog informing the user that the model has been updated and to check all functionality before use.
But that's just me.

I was not aware that you have to open/load a model to get it to update, guess that shouldn't be a surprise as we are after all dealing with a computer.
Now I am scared to find out what didn't survive the last few updates, the gliders are the most time consuming to recover but Mike's templates/ instructions make it pretty straight forward.
The stuff I have set up from scratch could be another story all together. Guess I will have to take the time to document all the settings for each model so I have something to reference
the next time an ETHOS update breaks a setup.
