PCM Pino on Aloft's site

Just saw these come up on the site. I'm told Aloft owns the rights to most of the PCM line. Love the large V tail on the 3 meter keeping the stab out of the ice plants on landing. I'm also partial to the slight polhedral wing. Looking at the sales page for these two I have some basic questions. First on the 2.5 meter what does "without sandwich" mean? Is the wing built without an inner skin sandwiching the foam skin core? What is the junction angle of the V tail on the 3 meter and are the glider versions FAI compliant?

Also are these new lay ups or new old stock. At first glance there is a lot I like about these.

We ordered these before we bought the company. Just getting them up on the site now.

No sandwich means you go hungry. (No core material behind the skins, this is getting more common in maximum performance layups on the slope.)

Normally on "Without sandwich" wings there is NO foam core, just glass and carbon. Bulletproof.

I have made a few experimental models and used to call them "Hardcase" type.

Its been an option on some of the Euro models - especially those sanctioned for DS, for a couple of years.
