OpenTX Special Funtion Limit On Logical Switches?

Maybe I don't know what I'm doing, but when setting a Special Function, the pull-down in Companion only lists Logical Switches L01 through L12 that can be selected. Only the first 12 out of 64 Logical Switches are available for use in a Special function? I can't find that limitation documented anywhere. Is that a true limitation? Is there a work-around? I'm somewhat a neophyte in OpenTX, so any guidance would be appreciated.

With more recent versions of OpenTX, they tried to clean things up for the user. If you have not assigned any logic switches, then they will not be offered in Special Functions. So, setup your logic switches first, then they will be available in Special Functions.

I think this is what you are running into.

I have very rarely heard of someone hitting a limit in OpenTX. There are limits, lots of them, but they are generally so large that no one is going to hit them. I think about the only limit I recall is on the early radios if you had a lot of planes with a lot of crazy mixes and such, that you could run out of memory to store more planes. I think I only heard of one guy running into this issue, and he had crazy amounts of stuff programmed into each model.

Thanks for the quick reply. I took another look, and you are completely correct... And I also discovered I was confused on where my problem really is ocurring, but I think I see the work-around. What I discovered is that the limitation of Logical Switches in the pull down list actually occurs in the AND Switch column when defining Logical Switches (not in the Special Functions, as I incorrectly stated in my previous post). For example, if I want to define Logical Switch L11 as active when Switch F is forward AND L13 is active, I'm out of luck, because the Logical Switches that can be selected in the AND Switch pull-down is limited to L01 - L12. On further review, however, it looks like I can make it work by reversing the And logic by selecting V1 as L13, and selecting the AND Switch as Switch F Forward from the pull-down (because the V1 pul down does not have the limitation). If I wanted to make Logical Switch L11 active when L13 AND L14 are true, there would probably be a problem though. I really shouldn't be trying to think these things through this late at night...

REVELATION! I now see why I was getting so confused: New Logical Switch line numbers do not automatically get added to the pull-down lists when the line is created... The Model Editing window must be closed and then re-opened before the new line number is added to the pull-down list! I would add a new Logical Switch line, then tab directly over to the Special Functions page to use it in a Special Function, but would not see it in the pull down menu. Now I know why!
