Old rcer but been out of the game for a bit

Annd..I got the warbird itch again. So a warbird is on the way but being old I don't want to spend months messing with programming a transmitter.
Someone suggested I go with frsky vs futaba or spectrum.
As the new plane may be the first of a few (wife willing) I don't want to have to keep "upgrading" one transmitter and x number if recievers.
But first, we got to deal with the new hanger 9 mustang, currently on back order so I got time to research.
I came across the x20 in the catalog on the site. Then went to the recievers page to match it up. I assume the Archers are the ones that work with it?

That is correct, Archers would be a great fit with the X20. We should have restock by the end of the week with a bit of shipping luck.

I really like the X20 with Ethos, it is easy to use and understand, and has a great manual to help guide you.

Thanks for the lightning fast response.

As th plane itself probably won't get here till mid to late January, I'll wait my turn. It's winter here so I got time. Gives me time to Polk around the forums here and learn a little as this will be the first non futaba radio I've bought.
The dents in my forehead from beating it on a wall are still fading...
Also gives the bank account time to recover from that 2500.00 dent I just put in it...

X20S has a slightly better gimbal set and also has bluetooth audio. The Bluetooth might be nice if you have hearing aids or are a glider pilot and want to listen to your vario via bluetooth earphones. Otherwise, personally I like the X20 just fine. The majority of our customers disagree with me and buy the X20S.

Has taken me a few years to fine tune my selective hearing. I can now tune out entire conversations with the appropriate noises from time to time to allow my wife to think I've heard every detail.. Sometimes this backfires in a grand scale!

Whats the usual turn around time on orders?

Within 1 business day (usually far less) unless we are doing something special like burning special firmware, or packaging a plane. On a rare occasion we may have a mass of orders that really slows us down, when that happens we drop everything else to get orders back on track. Our #1 job is to fill orders ASAP, and all other tasks can and will be sidelined to meet this goal.
