Here are a couple from the 2019 ISR -- these are the 'oops' pictures... retrieving the planes is fun since you have to go thru poison oak o_O

I cant wait to try this!
It's like crack cocaine, I suppose, Jake - one try = lifetime addiction!

Red's ODR is a killer way to get into it as the entry cost is minimal.

I'm not there, but I know it would be great to have 60" (Not One Design Races necessarily) competitions for the sheer love of the fun!

Two pylons, simple flags, 3-up races - everyone takes a turn flagging - each entry = $20 in the pot.

Winner take all.

Heck of a way to spend a weekend.

the flat fuse shape is unique, or are there some older rigs with that flat bottom type of "belly". would be fun to travel to the states and racin within MOM regulations... especially with your new ODR

I've seen the flattened ovoid shape before. The first i recall is DJ Aerotech Monarch HLG from about 20 years ago. For me it solves a couple problems. Within the constraints of the rules, this provides some advantages. I'm eager to give it a try.

Actually I think a lot of the HLG/DLG designs use this shape for the Pods.

But I think its pretty unique for a 60" racer.

Within the set of ancient and I think very restrictive rules, it is quite possible that this fuselage might provide a clear advantage.

I think its great.
