Noisy Spektrum A370 digitals on FrSky SR8Pro

My servos are driving me crazy, sounds like bacon sizzling in the pan while the model is sitting still. No noticeable jitter and they have been doing this for a while, its just very annoying.
Is there a setting in my X20S that I haven't found that might help quiet these servos down or is this just the nature of modern digital servos?
Noise is present regardless of stabilization setting.

is there any mechanical preload coming from the control surfaces during the test ?
please retest without the servo pushrods connected to the servos.

One servo has a slight load the other 5 are free and they all make noise. Disconnecting linkage made no change.

just to test the servos by themselves, try driving each one of them with a servo tester and a separate battery /BEC ,
also disconnect the power from the receiver.
maybe one of the servos is doing something to the power coming from the receiver.

Not trying to be insulting here, but since I don't know your experience, are these your first digital servos? In general, they do a lot of buzzing.

To expand a bit - Some Digital servos are capable of holding very accurate positioning. When the deadband is around 1us (micro step) the servo will be working hard to maintain a perfect poistion. To do this the servo can run the motor very slightly in an infinite loop, and this will cause the buzzing sound. This is nermal operation.

On some servos you can adjust the deadband. These are usually referred to as programmable servos and they usually require a special programmer card or device. Each brand and each era of servos seems to do something a little different.

In the past when we have sold servos that were programmable and we stocked the optional programmer, almost no one would buy the programmer. Probably sold 10 units in the history of the company.
