Nexus 900 Elevon twist wing (repair)

Well this might be my sacrifice to the Sunset gods. I suffered a mid air on my first flight of the event, less than 3 minutes in. This soured my mood for most of the day until I maiden'd my Schwing Corsa 108. Actually it was helping Victor (formally of Aloft) make and recover his glider from an off field landing. (This was the highlight for me at the 2022 Sunset Beach fly in).

The Nexus got hit by a Sea Gull (a 3D printed Sea Gull)! The damage is rather severe in that the wing delaminated across the cord at mid span. This along with the crushed foam core will make the repair very difficult as there is nothing in spots to hold the shape of the wing. I give this repair less than a 20% chance at success. But I'll have to give it a try.

What you see is an attempt to get the crushed foam were it belongs. I also tried to expand the foam back into shape with some steam. I'll need to make a fixture to keep the wing in tension span wise durring the epoxy repair. This will be a trick! Tension fixtures are a pain to make and use.

A replacement left wing would be great! But your's is the only other kit (non 3D printed) I've seen. Then there is the issue of UPS crushing the cannibalized wing in transit.
