Newbie's question about the TEMS-01 temperature sensor

I bought two of these because I want to monitor my motor and ESC temps. Imagine my disappointment when I received the Frsky "manual" for the TEMS-01. So I'm hoping someone can help me get up to speed.

First issue: I use (and love) the G-RX8 receiver. I already have the smart port on top connected to my battery voltage sensor. So how would I connect the TEMS-01 sensor, since it has the tiny plastic 2-pin connector which I believe is intended to go there even though it has only 2 pins and the smart port has 4 pins?

Second issue: I removed the temperature sensor and connected the 2-pin connector to the top of the G-RX8 smart port slot. Since it only uses 2 of the 4 pins, I connected it to the signal and the "+" pins (it only goes in one way). But when I tried to discover the sensor, it doesn't seem to find it. I am using the Taranis X9 Lite S. There is a sensor on the telemetry page identified as "F010 1B", but I don't know if that's it. It has the asterisk pulsating on and off, implying that it's active, but I don't know if this is the TEMS-01 or not. When I discover new sensors, nothing else comes up. I tried editing that sensor and setting it to degrees F and degrees C, but the readout remains "0" no matter what I do. You can't change the input for this sensor either. It's stays at "---" and the scroller passes over it without any chance to edit it. There must be something very basic that I'm doing wrong...

Third issue (if I ever get that far): How would I ever connect the second TEMS-01 sensor? True, the connector only uses 2 pins, and there are 4 pins on the smart port, but both of these connectors wouldn't fit into the smart port slot (they're too big), and besides, the other two pins aren't correct. PLUS, how will I ever connect my battery voltage sensors again. Any and all help is appreciated!

That sensor is ment to be used with a sensor hub.

S-Port sensors are ment to be daisy chained.

With the G-RX8 will need this to measure temps.

Thanks so much - makes perfect sense!
