New Single Stick Project

Guys:
A few questions - as mentioned earlier, I fly helicopters using the throttle and collective manually so I typically place 2 sliders (without detents) close to each other.
Can I purchase some more sliders / sensors from you? I also typically build TX's with a set on both sides of the transmitter so right-handed people can use my TX as well (with a toggle switch between the two).

I would also like to purchase some extra connectors to connect the stick to the mother board and connect the sliders to the mother board (as I hope to have 4 sliders without detents if possible).

Would you know if a stick from an older TX (Kraft or Futaba) will work just as well? I understand the gimbal and pots would need to be used (probably) from the older TX's

I haven't started this build yet, waiting to see if I can get more parts (note: I would purchase the antenna wire as well from a previous post just in case I run into an issue there too. Thank you! Dean

@Wayne: another question for you - do you guys have an interest in continuing this project (perhaps with more current hardware if Frysky is not going to support the X10s anymore)?

I would have an interest in helping push this along as I've built a couple of them in the past. I have some ideas that might make the entire process a little easier and more flexible...

We have so many projects in the works right now we really can't take on anything else at this time. Perhaps in the future.

Sliders - I no longer recall what the resistance values are for the Frsky radios. Basically take an existing slider from your doner radio and read the ohms, then find a slider you like with matching ohms.

The kit is really well thought out. For example, I like how the battery is moved from the bottom to the left side of the box, to rebalance the box after the removal of the left stick.

Hi Haoyang - agree - your transmitter looks good! Did you paint the plywood panels? if so, what paint (and sealer?) did you use? If not, what is the material you used to get the yellow?

I sprayed it with Tamiya TS-16 Yellow, a spray can I happened to have at hand. I think most paint would work equally well.

I went to the Misc. page as you say but when I enter the 65 note items, the tally seems to add up ok but the digital count remains at $1.00. when I go to check out the Cart items show one item count for the note purchase, and 65 item count for shipping ins. ????? RESULTING IN A 65 x $2.xx ALOFT shipping coverage?????> overall cost 0f $140.00 +!!!!!

She's the best to help you out with. since you're ordering more stuffs i can recommend something, place your order like normal and pay for the kit separately by PayPal or zelle, and then we can include the kit in the order at the end. how its looks like for you? can you send me a PM with the screenshot of what is the problem ?

I assume that all of the SS Tx units sold were the wood version, can you tell us how many were sold?
No problem if you would rather not.

It is just seems odd to me that with all of the initial interest, when it became available it withered on the vine.
