New gasser build.. what RX is best?

Building an edge with a DA 60. I am running a Radiomaster TX16S with a multimodule so that limits me to ACCST. I have always used X8R RX in my electric planes with great success. I see that the X8R is not recommended for gas due to ignition noise. I am considering using a RX8R pro with a MX+ for redundancy. I am a bit worried due to the "NOTE: It is a good idea to keep the battery source over 6 volts on this receiver following some testing of a possible brownout condition at lower voltages. If possible, use of a 2S LiPo is a good idea, please make sure your servos can handle this high a voltage." warning. I plan to run this setup with a LiFe battery and a IBEC all on the same battery. My servos are not rated for HV unfortunately. (https://www.tech-aero.net/ultra-ibec). Will I encounter voltage issues with this setup running a LiFe pack? If I do get a voltage sag will the MX+ fill in or is the whole system shut down? Is there something better? My main reason for staying FrSky is that I have some custom created sensors for temperature and RPM. Also does the RX8R pro come flashed with the universal firmware when buying new from Aloft or is there a separate $6 fee additional? Thanks in advance.

I think with a good LiFE pack you should be fine.

But it is also possible to use a lipo pack. I have one setup were the receiver is connected directly to the LiPO-pack and the servos are connected via a 5V-BEC (same Lipo-pack). In this case only the signal wire of the servos go to the receiver.

In any case I do recommend to have a look at the Rxbat Telemetry-value (also Rxbat-).
If the Rxbat/Rxbat- value does drop to far the receiver will have a brownout.

If you flew a Frsky radio the best choice would be to get one of the new "Archer Plus R10+" (also SR10+ available).
These receiver can do both Access and ACCST -- but only with Frsky radio.
I use a predecessor "Archer R8 pro" and that does not show any sign of voltage dropping.

It seems that Aloft does not have them in stock yet.
But you could have a look at them on frsky-rc.com or horusrc.com.

I flew several 35-50 cc planes using the RX8R Pro for several years on LiFe and had no issues, so in my case the risk wasn't seen. But, I did upgrade to the Access version about a year ago, just in case.....

I gave the R10+ a look and have yet to find any of them in stock anywhere in the USA. I also fly a Radiomaster TX16s and am worried even though it supports ACCST V2 I will have issues setting up the RX as via the instructions only shows can be done via the FrSky radio and only on the ACCESS side? Does anyone know if the R10+ supports sbus in (2nd RX for redundancy) and S-Port out of the box? I did find this... https://github.com/EdgeTX/edgetx/issues/3188 but it seams they have yet to get the configuration working. The RX8R Pro seamed like the next best option to keep the S-Port for the custom telemetry I have.
